Visualizing your experience
Hey every one! I’m Kinza.
Today, I’m going to visualize my experience of first two weeks at Amal academy.
The time when I joined Amal. I was too excited about the fellowship. Besides, I had many question in my mind. I was just wondering to have a platform where I can talk and listen to others.
Also, I had my exams when I started fellowship. It was being tough for me. At the start of fellowship, from orientation to the actual sessions, The one thing that always motivated and pushed me to keep moving forward and taking it as a challenge and learning was the big smiles on the faces of Sir Ghazi and Mam Namrah.
These two are the good humans except being good mentors too.
I always felt so energized and inspired after seeing smiles on the faces of Amal fellows. Their stories and passion of doing things tirelessly. Also, very positive attitude towards other learners. This thing also motivated and kept me in throw of Amal’s brightness.
When I started fellowship, I had no idea where the life is going. I was seeing my self as a person, standing at the verge of endless thoughts in the darkness of the world with little splash of colors. I was watching people flying up high from my place. People flying like birds in a group, with coordination and running towards their destination after working hard whole day.
The issue was not that I was comparing myself with others. No, I was not. I always believed that there’s no comparison as every one has his/her own story and his/her own struggles. You cannot explain that how does it feel to be there from the other end. Yet, I had many untold things running in my mind.
As the time passed by, I kept on learning new things through online courses and through the activities during sessions. The online videos helped me a lot in giving answers to my questions. Also, the Amal fellows showed interest into the conversation. The interaction of fellows was amazing.
So, with the passage of time, I started feeling like that the Amal course and and Amal fellows proved like a bright light that helps the small bud of a plant to grow and shine keeping it’s photosynthesis process doing regularly.
